We are the literacy circle from room 6. We are currently reading "The Wind Singer" by William Nicholson and have presented our first summary of what we have read so fare. We are using VoiceThread to share our thoughts.

  1. Hi, My name is Georgia.

I listened to the first review and 'The Wind Singer' sounds really good! I think that it's great that you are sharing your literacy circle novel with others especially with a presentation! It's a great way to share different books with others and encourage them to read them.

We have also read books for literacy circles in our class, although we read Graphic Novels! Half of us read 'Bone' by Jeff Smith, the other half of us read 'Maus' by Art Spiegelman.

Also, I was wondering what genre would 'The Wind Singer' be?
